Still Growin from Augie Meyers (1982) (LP). This is a scan done by us, but as we have often several items in stock, it may be from a different item.

He was in his 50s when he hooked up with Bob Dylan and added all manner of eerie, evocative keyboards to two of Dylan’s best albums ever, Time Out of Mind and ’Love & Theft. The success of the Texas Tornados in the early ’90s was confounding, too: A group of square peg country-ish musicians making a Rio Grande permutation of roots music during the peak Garth era sounds like a bad bet for gambling types. Augie Meyers talks about his long, storied career.

Austin "Augie" Auginbaugh (say that fives times fast) never considered himself a "normal" kid growing up. Born in small-town Indiana, he often felt like a fish out of water in the Orthodox Christian town of Convers. The Midwesterner admits school was never really his forte, but what he lacked in enthusiasm for textbooks he made up for in natural skill on a BMX bike. After graduating from high school, Austin moved around working odd jobs until he found himself winning first place at the Chicago Series BMX competition. Following his victory, he moved to Cali and began making a name for himself on the scene. Once in Cali, Augie secured an agent as well as his first modeling job. Those initial successes propelled him towards New York where he now continues to execute the most difficult tricks, go on spontaneous adventures, and now, model full time.
