The silent creature and the title track are both blistering and perfectly executed. Deadmeat Necrobutcher. Posts: 2414 From: Greece.

Fearless Undead Machines opens quite violently, and the entire song follows suit. King Fowley shows his skills on the kit, while at the same time Mark Adams and Mike Smith shred the hell out of their guitars. This song has the best drums on the entire album. From the Ground they Came is an eerie instrumental piece, which gives the atmosphere of a graveyard. Night of the Deceased has the catchiest riffs on the entire album, almost sounding like bay area thrash. The lyrics for Night of the Deceased are very well written, too.

It isn’t really Death/Thrash Metal, but rather a Progressive/Traditional/Power Metal hybrid, but Deceased’s third album Fearless Dead Machines is their best overall. The songs are immensely long (most of them clocking over 5 minutes), but the musicianship is inspired and complete: this is definitely a different band from what they used to be before. This also means that most of its complexity and length is built up to appear “truer than anything else”, but an album like this, from a band like them, is almost a conceptual miracle.Highlights: “Fearless Undead Machines”, “Destiny”.
