Hello Black Hole, the new project from former Beastmilk member Johan "Goatspeed" Snell, are a lot stranger under the surface than they may outwardly seem. You can see as much in their new video for "Five Hundred Rocks to Throw," from their upcoming Svart EP, In No Good Hand. The clip shows a lot of different sensory textures and objects in motion, all strange and gross in their own way. Similarly, you can probably categorize the band's music as a little strange and gross

Luckily for us, Weezer intentionally recorded the songs from Songs From The Black Hole-and Pinkerton as well-in a rough, harsh and abrasive manner, reminiscent of live recordings. The reality is that these rough-sounding studio recordings generally sit well alongside Cuomo’s own rough-sounding home demos!
