The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Moscow, Russia, on the northern bank of the Moskva River, a few hundred metres southwest of the Kremlin. With an overall height of 103 metres (338 ft), it is the tallest Orthodox Christian church in the world. The current church is the second to stand on this site

The story opens in the Garden of Olives where Jesus has gone to pray after the Last Supper. Betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the controversial Jesus-who has performed 'miracles' and has publicly announced that he is 'the Son of God'-is arrested and taken back within the city walls of Jerusalem. Form him from the dust and breathe into him MY OWN BREATH OF LIFE!" That gets me every time. This production is truly a blessing to sing.

The history of Russia of the 19th and 20th centuries is mirrored in that of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. This majestic memorial cathedral erected on the bank of the Moskva River opposite the Kremlin was built to gratify God for saving Russia from Napoleon’s invasion. Apart from him, the best sculptors and artists worked on the project. The ingenious Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky wrote his 1812 Overture for the consecration ceremony, attended by veterans of the Patriotic War of 1812the war between the Russian Empire and Napoleonic France on the territory of Russia in 1812. In 1931, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour was dynamited to make way for the Palace of the SovietsRussian: Dvorets Sovetov or Дворец Советов, a new cathedral for the new era.

My Utmost for His Highest: The Covenant.

The Passion is a story about injustice, doubt, fear, pain and, ultimately, degrading death. It tells how God experienced these things in the same way as ordinary human beings. The most iconic image of the Passion is the crucifix - Christ in his last agony on the cross - found in statues and paintings, in glass, stone and wooden images in churches, and in jewellery. The Passion appears in many forms of art. It is set to music, used as a drama and is the subject of innumerable paintings. There is a Christian tradition that Pilate and his wife eventually converted to Christianity. Jesus is whipped and then, to mock the claim that he is 'King of the Jews', given a crown of thorns and dressed in a purple robe. Jesus carries his cross to the place of crucifixion, helped by Simon of Cyrene.

This is the most reverent and inspirational music I have heard in a long time. We are living in an age of debaucherous music from ALL genres but here we are given music that is clean, pure and worthy of our Lord. I am brought to humbleness and tears every time I listen. Simply put this album is absolutely glorious in the praise of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
