Live: Right Here, Right Now. is the first live album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1993. It is the band's only live album featuring Sammy Hagar, and the only live album by Van Halen until the release of Tokyo Dome Live in Concert in 2015. The album combines songs performed over two nights in May 1992 at the Selland Arena in Fresno, CA. Most of the songs on this album were from the first night, such as the solos performed by Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hagar

Original release without SID codes. Records In. a Time Warner Company. Records Inc. for the . and WEA International Inc. for the world outside of the . Mfg. by WEA Manufacturing.

Van Halen assembled their first live album, the two-CD Live: Right Here Right Now, from a collection of tapes dating from 1985 (when Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth), to the present. Only a few songs recall Roth's days, and too many songs from For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge are featured (ten out of 11). With the exception of the consistently impressive Eddie Van Halen, the album slows to a halt during the solo passages. Most of the time, the performances aren't all that different from the original studio recordings.

This album is actually a fake - huge chunks of the album are re-recorded takes with overdubbed crowd noise. Eddies famous (and quite straightforward) triplet patterns are often derived from symmetrical three-note-per-string patterns that create atonal "scales" played very quickly and of course the famous two-handed tapping runs, basically derived from those unusual symmetrical "scale" patterns or licks from Clapton's famous Crossroads solo. The sheer lack of deviation in the bass lines make the approach all the easier, although his guitar sound was certainly influential and innovative at the end of the seventies.Right Now Right Now also features Sammy Hagar's likable radio rock voice, but half the songs are pretty much as generic as a Whitesnake album. The drums and bass are dead on also - but that's what you get when you doctor a live record, something that was popular in the 70's. A video was released about the same time of the "concert" where shots from different nights and locations are spliced together - another issue with doing a fake live ceedee...A remastered early 80s disc with decent vocals would have done more for metalheads, and guitar fans, but actually the original singer wanted to release a "Best Of" disc featuring his solo pop hits (about four tunes) intercut with the best tracks the band released 1978 - 1984 at this time, so they marketed this album to make a counter-offer to Warner Bros corporation.
