So, Who's Paranoid is the tenth studio album from The Damned. Released in November 2008, it was their first album in seven years. Musically, the album draws from the band's 1980s Gothic rock sound.

The Damned chronology. Damned Damned Damned (1977). Music for Pleasure (1977). Machine Gun Etiquette (1979). Music for Pleasure is the second studio album by English punk rock band the Damned. It was released on 18 November 1977 by Stiff Records. The Damned originally sought out former Pink Floyd member Syd Barrett, but were unsuccessful due to his reclusive lifestyle. In a brief interview for the documentary The Damned: Don't You Wish That We Were Dead (2015), Mason reported the band were accustomed to a much faster recording schedule than he was familiar with Pink Floyd. The Damned hoped to record several songs on their first day in studio, when Pink Floyd would still be fine-tuning the microphone set-up and tuning the drums. So, Who's Paranoid? Evil Spirits.

Perhaps if they hadn't been so busy hurling shaving foam and setting each other on fire, the Damned would have been hailed as more than just madcap cartoon punks. Their first album in seven years, and their best in much longer, takes a lead from 1980's superb The Black Album by skipping through genres. There's psychedelic pop (Under the Wheels), Scott Walkeresque melodrama (Nature's Dark Passion), baroque, music-hall Britpop (Dr Woofenstein) and even a cheekily worded piano ballad (Since I Met You).

Quite possibly The Damned's Best Album !! The "critic" above labels Dark Asteroid as a mistake !?! The song is fantastic , a Syd Barrett / Hawkwind fused Masterpiece of Psychedelic Punk ... The Vinyl & later cd release includes 3 bonus tracks that should've just been included on the original cd release , they finish the recordings off superbly ... Again , one of the Damned's Best if not as a whole Their Best , A Massive 10/10 !!
