This is a collection of songs from our first year as a band. Some of these songs were already floating around but now they have been finally mastered at Saff Mastering in Chicago. It comes in a lovely 12" format with a code for the mp3's.
A Classic Education come from Bologna, Italy. Part Canadian, part Italian. The band has been going for just under two years. Formed by Canadian singer and guitarist Jonathon Clancy and his Italian mates Luca Mazzieri and Paul Pieretto, the band is now a six piece with the addition of Giulia Mazza, Federico Oppi, and Stefano Roveda. The band has played multiple European and US tours, including stops at SXSW and the upcoming CMJ Music Marathon. Hey There Stranger marks their first proper label release in the States, and recording for the full length is already underway.

Their next single, What I Could Have Been/Toi, was released online via the Maryland indie pop label Holiday Records in the wake of their . A Classic Education's debut mini-album, Hey There Stranger, was released on Lefse Records in 2010. They followed it up in October of the next year with their first full-length, Call It Blazing.
