Slow Horses – Move On. (agr) UK release date: 5 April 2004. by Mark Fielding published: 5 Apr 2004 in Albums. By track three, Gaby Schmidt’s strangely un-German voice was starting to sound nice and the guitar of Marc Hothan on Slow Horses was sounding intricate. In fact a lot of the judging that I had done before I even listened started to feel unfounded, and unnecessary. It wasn’t as bad as it thought and certainly not as bad as it could have been.

Fast Women & Slow Horses is the sound of Dr. Feelgood in a crisis - there's a reason why it's the last album to feature the original rhythm section of John Martin and John Sparks. The group is uncertain whether it wants to pursue a pop crossover or stick to R&B, and the whole record suffers as a result. The production is clean and stiff, the performances bland, and the material, with the exception of Difford and Tillbrook's passable "Monkey," largely undistinguished. Even though it meant that the original group had to effectively disband, Fast Women & Slow.
Horses is the debut studio album by American musician Patti Smith, released on November 10, 1975, on Arista Records. Smith, a fixture of the then-burgeoning New York punk rock music scene, began recording Horses with her band in 1975 after being signed to Arista Records, with John Cale being enlisted to produce the album.
