This album and Seger were an immedidate hit with me. Since that afternoon in 1979 I have seen Seger in concert 8-9 times and own every album/CD that he has produced in his career. In my opinion, this record displays some of the top Seger songs done in the singer's prime. The record falls into the middle of a ten year run for Seger when he produced the best material of his career.
Night Moves is the ninth studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Bob Seger, and his first with the Silver Bullet Band. The album was well received by critics and gave Bob Seger nationwide success

The film is structured in three parts, charting the birth, rise and decline of a movement famed for complex musical structures, weird time signatures, technical virtuosity and strange, and quintessentially English, literary influences. It looks at the psychedelic pop scene that gave birth to progressive rock in the late 1960s, the golden age of progressive music in the early 1970s, complete with drum solos and gatefold record sleeves, and the over-ambition, commercialisation and eventual fall from grace of this rarefied musical experiment at the hands of punk in 1977.
Turn the Page (Bob Seger song). Turn the Page" is a song originally released by Bob Seger in 1973 on his Back in '72 album. Though never released as a single, Seger's live version of the song on the 1976 Live Bullet album became a mainstay of album-oriented rock radio stations, and still gets significant airplay to this day on classic rock stations.
