Performer: Marilyn Hill Smith. Orchestra: Chandos Concert Orchestra. Conductor: Barry Knight. I also bought this because it was repressed music, and it is fantastic. This is the most fun I've had listening to an opera! It's non-stop entertainment with great dances and beautiful singing as well. There are great "typical" classical numbers as well as others that are more "Broadway" type, but it's better than any musical I have ever heard. The singing, conducting, and orchestra are all of the highest quality
