from The Golden Pavilion of Dreams: From Japan 1981 - 1995 by MA. Digital Track. So ethereal! This is a fantastic compilation, & I really love the album art. A treasure to discover. There's somewhat a "new age" vibe but really this is just great electronic music. supported by 7 fans who also own The Golden Pavilion of Dreams: From Japan 1981-1995.

You hear so many styles – neo-folk, chanson, ambient, minimal, tango, New Age, funk – just bouncing off each other in ways that just blends into one unique, visionary thing. How else do you explain an album kicking off with a track Simon Jeffes would have killed to record with the Penguin Cafe Orchestra?
