Mike Dehnert - Framework Mike Dehnert seems to enjoy releasing albums. He's put out five long-players since 2007, ranging from the driving, chords-driven techno of Maximal, through to the driving, chords-driven techno of Part 2. He also seems to enjoy functionality. Those albums totalled 61 digital-only tracks, each and every one of them aimed directly at the dance floor. It should go without saying then that Dehnert doesn't produce albums in the traditional sense of the term. Relatively speaking, though, Framework should be considered his most experimental and diverse album to date, in that it features an intro, an outro and a track with barely any kick drum. These non-club orientated passages work well enough. Kontextfrei" in particular benefits greatly from the simple introduction of some strings to swarm around its sub-aquatic bass and raspy vocal sample.

12" Vinyl NL. Delsin Records, 85DSR, MDN1. In just three years, Berlin based artist Dehnert has gone from unknown talent to underground hero with his very own raw techno< sound making waves on labels like his own imprint Fachwerk and now Delsin, where he finds himself at home amongst the future music of talented cohorts Redshape, A Made Up Sound, Delta Funktionen and more. This EP is an introduction to his upcoming album Framework - an uncompromising album made up of pure techno tracks of the sort youd expect to hear on the dancefloors of places like Berghain or Tresor

A taster for Mike Dehnert's debut album, this EP sees the Berlin producer vary his sound. Despite these concessions, 'Framework' still finds Dehnert doing what he's best at, and 'Phase Response' is an insistent, rolling tool characterised by menacing string stabs.

This EP is an introduction to his upcoming album Framework - an uncompromising album made up of pure techno tracks of the sort youd expect to hear on the dancefloors of places like Berghain or Tresor. They go from pulsing and classic sounding to skipping and glitchy, through greyed-out and sandy via swinging and syncopated but always with a sense of restraint and control whether they are abstract, apocalyptic, atmospheric or whatever else. Although his tracks are undeniably functional, at the same time, they are neither nondescript nor forgettable: somehow, through masterful sound designs and.

This album has an average beat per minute of 124 BPM (slowest/fastest tempos: 85/165 BPM). See its BPM profile at the bottom of the page. BPM Profile Framework. Before Framework" is the tantalising teaser from Mike Dehnert before he drops his first full length on Delsin. A three track EP taken from an uncompromising album made up of pure techno machinations of the sort you'd expect to hear on the dancefloors of places like Berghain or Tresor.
