Shakti Shakti With John McLaughlin UK vinyl LP. Product details. Can't go wrong with John McLaughlin. I would recommend this CD to anyone simply for typically excellent guitar. The entire album focuses around violins and guitars jamming at intense speed and quite often alternating between the two. Now the style presented here is most certainly John McLaughlin- there's only one McLaughlin and his contributions are easy to locate SEVERAL miles away. The guy's a genius in my book.
