Native is the third studio album by American rock band OneRepublic. It was released on March 22, 2013 in Germany and Ireland, March 25 worldwide except North America, and March 26 in North America. The album was originally planned to be released at the end of 2012 with the lead single being "Feel Again", which was released on August 27, 2012. However, due to the album not being completed at the time, it was pushed back to early 2013

Her second studio album, Tu Angel de La Guarda, secured her as an international pop star with her career-defining hit, Pelo Suelto. Everyone was dancing to maestro Juan Luis Guerra’s irresistible brand of bachata, even in corners of Latin America that were furthest away from his native Dominican Republic. The people’s poet, Guerra created an uplifting, love-themed experience from start to finish and stretched bachata’s limits by playing with merengue, salsa and Afro-Caribbean rhythms.

Our journey to choose the 50 greatest Latin songs of all time took us across space and time, from Argentina to Spain and from the 1920s to 2017. We wanted to represent the full spectrum of Latin music (including music from Spain), from Mexican ballads to Cuban son to Colombian salsa to today’s bachata. From pop hooks to album covers to beats, we're rounding up some of the greatest of all time in music on Billboard. The song went to the top of the charts in Latin America, and gained widespread popularity as a soccer anthem, as part of the Grosse Pointe Blank movie soundtrack, and as a theme song for tennis player Rafael Nadal. 47. Overviews of music in Latin America are largely authored by musicologists and ethnomusicologists. These works focus on tracing the development of unique musical genres that have resulted from interethnic contact, and defining the types of music performed in Latin America today. Succinct introductions to the major genres and themes appear in Seeger 1998 and the first chapter of Schechter 1999 (cited under Textbooks). Other good, frequently updated starting points for understanding Latin American music are the online encyclopedia entries Stevenson and Webber 2012 and Robertson and Béhague 2012. This encyclopedia set currently includes two volumes with audio examples on compact discs. Volume 1 covers the music and performance of indigenous groups. The second volume contains essays on music of the Caribbean.

The 34 tracks on Native North America, Vol. 1: Aboriginal Folk, Rock and Country 1966-1985 were curated and painstakingly annotated by Kevin "Sipreano" Howe. He assembled this set from independent, often privately pressed, 45s and LPs culled from garage sales, flea markets, private collections, and broadcast sources from the CBC archives. Their collected nine songs would have made a fantastic comp by themselves. But there is real stylistic diversity here.

You don’t have to figure out a word of Kids to feel the poignant kick of that massive keyboard hook. King’s first album for the Stax label combines his hard, unflashy guitar playing with the sleek sound of the label’s house band, Booker T. and the MG’s. Hits such as Crosscut Saw and Laundromat Blues earned King a new rock & roll audience.
