Heading into the studio with musicians the like of Rod Argent, Russ Ballard, Rob Henritt, Henry Spinetti, Michael Giles and Michael's onetime bandmate, Casey Foutz of Crabby Appleton, must have been a great experience for Michael Fennelly. The music on this album attests to that and it sounds fresh and immediate. "Lane Changer" showcases what may be the best guitar playing this former member of Los Angeles' legendary The Millennium and Crabby Appleton has ever recorded. The guitar burns, especially the slide guitar work which drives this album with a vengeance. Tight, precise and filled with the kind of musicianship that fans of The Millennium and Crabby Appleton would expect from Mr. Fennelly. Great stuff. Check it out while it is back in print from Wounded Bird.
